Territory Duel

Each player starts with two pieces on a 7×7 board. Select your piece and an empty target. Place: one square away, including diagonals; your original piece stays. Jump: two squares away; your original square becomes empty. All opposing pieces adjacent to the target, including diagonals, become yours. No chain reaction. A player who cannot place or jump loses immediately, even with pieces remaining. The game ends when the board is full, neither player can move, or a player has no pieces. Most pieces wins. Three repeated positions or 80 jumps without captures end the game by piece count. Each turn lasts 30 seconds; timeout loses. Pause stops the clock.
